We participated in the scientific festival Małopolska Scientists’ Night (‘Małopolska Noc Naukowców’)

Last Friday, September 26, 2025, our Institute participated in the Małopolska Researchers’ Night. We demonstrated experiments prepared by Dr. Kinga Freindl and Prof. Józef Korecki under the theme “Pressure and Temperature” – we demonstrated the force of atmospheric pressure, which can crush a metal can, fired a vacuum gun, froze objects using liquid nitrogen, and even levitated a superconductor! 

We also prepared posters promoting the phenomenon of photoemission and the preparation of magnetic layers in ultrahigh vacuum conditions.
